I’ve added a new piece of animation to the Film & Animation page! Crazy, right? I mean, it makes far too much sense to place something in the correct category, no?
Stop making bad jokes, or else…
You can now find information and pictures from Ballroom Games on the aforementioned page, under the year 2008. You can also be ultra-cool and go watch this old little school project of mine on YouTube!
Who’s back with an update in a decent amount of time and has two thumbs?
This chick! *points to self*
This week I am promoting the fantasy web series Aethereal.
In Aethereal, a young wizard and a grizzled private detective team up to take down a corporate cabal of dark magic bent on world domination.
I am currently working on this project as the director of photography and as an actress. You can watch the first episode on the YouTube site or take a gander at the embedded video below.
This pilot episode was shot over 6 weekends in the spring, edited over the summer, and released online in early August. We are currently shooting the remainder of the first season over the next month and a half and hope to have more content online by the end of October.
The series has a nice mixture of magic, drama, and humor. The pilot episode is a bit long for internet audience attention spans, running at about 22 minutes in length, but definately worth the watch. Then again, I am a bit biased in my critique of this show. 😉
Well, I’ve spent most of the past week in bed, sick as a dog, trying my best to fight against a very obnoxious tonsil infection. That’s right, I’ve got full blown tonsillitis.
Yes, that is a picture of my infected tonsils…and I’m not going to get into how difficult it is to get a decently lit photo of your tonsils…
Needles to say…I feel great! And by great I do in fact mean that I feel like a giant, warm, stinking pile of shit!
So, since I feel like crap I’m going to keep this post short and sweet.
My buddy Chris Sprinkle finished work on his short film The Monkey’s Paw! It is a rather quirky silent film based on W.W. Jacobs short story. I play one of the main characters in the film, Sarah, who goes just a little nutty…
